The latest beautiful Eley Kishimoto collection (s/s 2009 – while we in Australia have only just hit actual s/s 2008) is once again modelled by a series of depressed young women with vacant expressions. Look past these strange, grumpy creatures and you’ll see covetable vintage-inspired dresses that are very much in the vein of the Eley Kishimoto winter collection of covetable vintage-inspired swing jackets and A-line skirts. I’m still on the quest for the perfect dress and if I could get my hands on any of these I might be able to call an end to my search. Order and Progress in Curtin House stock the label but never seem to have any of the good stuff…
